Decentralized Applications (dApps)
Decentralized Applications (or dApps) are applications that integrate with blockchain technologies.
Integrating with blockchain technologies allows for certain features that are beneficial to applications and end-users:
- Native integration with smart contract tokens (such as NEP-5 Token Standard) and cryptocurrencies.
- Immutable data entries.
- Transparent back-ends by smart contracts.
- True ownership of data for end-users.
- Cross-integration with other decentralized applications due to all data being available on a public ledger.
